Welcome to the Faculty Activity Report Application
First, you must be logged in so FAR can give you access to the appropriate pages.
If the black bar towards the top of the page says 'Welcome, Guest | Login' on the left, you are not logged in.
Click the 'Login' link to login.
Once you are logged in, click on the relevant menu item beneath 'FAR Home' on the left-hand side of the page :
Faculty - click on the 'Faculty' menu item to enter your activity and view evaluations.
Personnel Committee - click on the 'Personnel Committee' menu item to view the faculty
Chairs/Directors - click on the 'Faculty' menu item to fill out the activity report or the
'Chairs/Directors' menu item to fill out evaluations and run reports.
Unit Staff - click on the 'Workload Entry' menu item to enter workload percentages or
the 'Chairs/Directors' menu item to run reports.
Dean's Office Staff - click on the 'Dean' menu item to run reports.
Provost - click on the 'Provost' menu item to run reports.
If you do not see any menu items on the left, it means that your unit has not added you to the application.
Contact the head of your unit to be added to the application.
Use the 'Cut and Paste' button to copy information from a document (e.g., your CV) and paste it into the text box.
You can then copy and paste or drag and drop the data into the form fields located below the cut and paste section.
The 'Copy' button will allow you to copy a record from a previous year into the current activity report year.
You can then edit the information and add it to the current activity report year.
Instructions and help for a page can be found by clicking on the 'Instructions' button located under the page header.
